Vetstak

How Vetstak works

Choosing software shouldn't depend on whoever has the biggest advertising budget.

New AI tools appear every week, each promising to write your posts, answer your customers or run your books. Most "best tools" lists are written by the companies selling them, or by agencies that want to set the tools up for you. It's hard to know who to trust.

Vetstak takes a different approach. Instead of one reviewer's opinion, we look at what large numbers of real users consistently report, then match that to what you need. Everything on Vetstak is a summary of what users report. It isn't our personal opinion.

Where our information comes from

  • Verified review sites such as Capterra, G2 and Trustpilot.
  • Published prices from each tool and from independent pricing breakdowns.
  • Coming soon: community discussions, such as Reddit and social media, once we can collect them through official, reliable channels.

Our method

  1. We collect user evidence for each tool, along with its current prices.
  2. We look for patterns, not one-offs. A complaint only makes our list when many users repeat it. The same goes for praise.
  3. We rate our confidence. "High" means hundreds or thousands of reviews. "Medium" means fewer reviews, or some data from a source that competes with the tool. "Low" means there isn't much user evidence yet, and we say so on the result.
  4. We show our sources. Every tool page links to where the information came from, so you can check it yourself.
  5. We re-check regularly. Each tool page shows when it was last checked.

How Vetstak Match works

You tell us what you need help with, who it's for, your budget and how comfortable you are with setup. We score each tool in that category on how well users say it handles your need, whether it fits your budget, how easy users find it and its overall rating. The match percentage shows how closely a tool fits your answers. It isn't a quality score: a tool can be excellent and still be a weaker match for you.

Our promises

  • No company can pay to rank higher or to remove complaints.
  • We recommend the best fit even when that tool pays us nothing.
  • Every claim links to where it came from.
  • When we earn a commission, we say so. See our affiliate disclosure.
